Hydee Feldstein Soto Earns Strong New Endorsements

Our campaign is honored to receive several new endorsements from Democratic and community leaders today. These influential endorsements reflect a dynamic and diverse coalition of support and signify strong momentum behind our campaign.

California Democratic Party Women’s Caucus Chair Carolyn Fowler and LGBTQ Caucus Co-Chair Lester Aponte, Pasadena City College Trustee Linda S. Wah and the Honorable Daniel Tabor, former Mayor of Inglewood, all announced their endorsement of Hydee Feldstein Soto for Los Angeles City Attorney on March 18.

“I wholeheartedly endorse Hydee Feldstein Soto for LA City Attorney. She is the only candidate with a clear vision and a proven track record of managing over 500 attorneys and the knowledge of key opportunities for structural reform in the areas of personnel, social justice, equity and opportunities for women,” said Carolyn Fowler, Chair, California Democratic Party Women’s Caucus.

“Hydee Feldstein Soto has a deep understanding of the job of the City Attorney and brings a level of administrative experience that no other candidate can match. She is a professional lawyer, not a professional politician. She is looking to serve the city she loves with no desire or expectation that it will lead to another elected office. Los Angeles needs that serious approach in the office of the City Attorney. Los Angeles needs Hydee,” said Lester F. Aponte, Co-Chair, California Democratic Party LGBTQ Caucus and Political Director, Avance L.A. Democratic Club.

“Hydee Feldstein-Soto has qualifications for the office of City Attorney that align with the greatest problems facing our great city. As a Corporate Attorney, she has led departments and strategies to aid big businesses; as a neighborhood councilmember, she has collaborated with residents and organizations to help small businesses, residents, and community organizations address housing and public safety issues; and she understands criminal justice reform as an element of public safety. Hydee is a humanist activist with a no-nonsense approach to fairness, equity and justice and this is why I support her,” said The Honorable Daniel K. Tabor, former Mayor of Inglewood.

“Hydee has a strong record of empowering women and standing up for equality in the workplace. She will be a force for change as City Attorney and her experience and leadership mean that she’s ready for the job,” said Linda S. Wah, Trustee, Pasadena City College.

These endorsements add to our growing list of supporters, including the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley (DPSFV), East Area Progressive Democrats (EAPD) and Heart of LA Democratic Club.

Hydee is running to be the next LA City Attorney because it is time for new leadership and new energy at City Hall. LA needs a problem solver – not a politician or city hall insider. Hydee Feldstein Soto has repeatedly been recognized as one of America’s top attorneys. A neighborhood councilmember, Hydee has a lifetime of experience solving the toughest problems and is independent of entrenched city hall.

With your support, Hydee will deliver a city that works again.
