LOS ANGELES (August 15, 2022) — In her campaign for Los Angeles City Attorney, Hydee Feldstein Soto has secured the powerful endorsement of Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County Action Fund, a testament to her lifelong support of reproductive rights.

Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County Action Fund Executive Director Celinda M. Vázquez released the following statement with the organization’s endorsement:

“Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County Action Fund (PPAP) is proud to endorse Hydee Feldstein Soto for Los Angeles City Attorney. As reproductive rights are under attack, we know that Hydee will use her strong experience in office to protect and defend abortion rights and work to expand access to safe reproductive care.”

On acknowledging the impact of this endorsement and her deep commitment to reproductive rights, Hydee Feldstein Soto stated: “As a lifelong pro-choice feminist, I look forward to partnering with Planned Parenthood to retain and regain bodily autonomy and access to safe, legal abortion.  Thank you PPAP!  I am deeply grateful for your vote of confidence. We need leaders in office who are committed to protecting and expanding abortion access, and the gains we have made for privacy and equality for all.  I am, and always have been, proudly and unequivocally a pro-choice champion and LGBTQ+ ally, ready to serve the people of Los Angeles and those who look to our city as a safe haven. We must be singular in purpose to protect reproductive healthcare, privacy and the freedom of self-determination as fundamental rights for us all.  As City Attorney post-Dobbs, I will use every legal tool at my disposal to defend these rights.”
